We have this cool laundry line that goes up and down by turning a simple crank - only problem is that the crank is low enough and easy enough for Gracie to let the clothes down, down, down! On more than one occasion she has been in trouble for lowering freshly laundered towels to the floor - which have to be rewashed - arg! No matter, she never gets tired of helping when it comes to doing the laundry. Yesterday she went out onto the balcony with me and politely asked that I lower the clothes so that she could clip them! This is her version of "helping" these days. It is really cute! She just goes down the line clipping clothespins to everything. We often take a shirt out of the closet to find a stowaway clip hanging from one side or the other. I finally caught her in the act! Here she is - clipping away!
