Why do kids like putting things in their noses anyway? I guess it is just a new and interesting experience. Gracie is definitely into new experiences. So tonight we are eating dinner and Gracie is more or less playing with hers - peas, bamboo root & beef, spinach & pumpkin. When I look over she points to her nose and says "pea" - "nose". I understood immediately and felt on the left side of her nose noticing a bump where there was obviously a pea lodged. I couldn't see it but I just kept rubbing down until finally it showed at the edge of her nostril and then came out. I told her to blow and what was left flew with great force onto her tray. Oh my goodness, what am I going to do with her? I am so thankful that she can communicate or I would have never known. Guess I better start teaching her all the other words she may possibly need to tell me in a crisis.
